To set up a set of Windows quick keysFirst decide where to put the shortcuts containing the quick keys, and create a directory in that location.E.g. to create them in the Start Menu... Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Right click > Open. With Explorer on "System Tools", right click in the RH panel. New > Folder > and enter a name for the directory of quick key shortcuts (E.g. "Keys") > Enter. Keys > Right click in the RH panel > New Shortcut, and enter the name and destination of the shortcut Place the cursor in the "Shortcut key:" box, and press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+<Required key>. E.g. after creating a shortcut named "Mozilla Firefox" ... Shortcut > Target = "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" > Start in: = "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" > Shortcut key: = CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+I > [OK] |
